Optical Densities
Key Point: Experiments done without complexity require
assumptions, whereas experiments done with complexity are largely
free of assumptions.
The objective of the exercise is to run optical density
experiments and then interpret the results with and without
assumptions. The simulator teaches us two things. In
biological research: (1) complexity can not be avoided and (2)
experiments are designed most effectively as equations.
