Design Codes
Design codes (Y/X) also come from the stereology literature
database. They supply the experimental data used to generate
the equation libraries and networks for the hippocampus.
Starting with this table, the hippocampus data was filtered and
sent to Excel worksheets for analysis (see <C:\Program
Files\HippocampusUR\Worksheets\Experimental)>.
In our universal biology database, both data pairs and design codes
can be stored in the same table and used to generate decimal
equations. By integrating the control and experimental data,
we can interpret a change with standard equations. Moreover, we can
identify two types of change - qualitative
(proportions) and quantitative (amounts).
